Beginners Machine Knitting Saturday Workshop

Saturday 10am – 3pm, tea and coffee provided but please bring your own lunch.

This course will give you the opportunity to explore the basic principles of knitting on a domestic machine.

Over the course of the weekend you will learn single bed techniques which will include:

• Casting on and off successfully
• Knit stockinette stitch
• Change colours and stripe
• Utilise the jacquard patterning facility
• Knit your own scarf design or follow a ready made pattern

All yarn provided is ethically sourced 100% lambswool.
