Ribber Bed Workshop - Email for Workshop Dates

This machine knitting course is designed for those with some previous single bed experience. The aim is to introduce you to working with the ribber attachment.

There will be an introduction on how to attach your ribber to the single bed followed by learning how to:

• Cast on and off

• Investigating the most commonly used rib structures

• How to set up and knit a 1x1, 2x1 and 2x2 rib

• The principles of racking

• Plating

• Using ripples for texture

• Experiment with drop stitch

• ½ Milano and Milano stitch explained

• ½ cardigan and cardigan stitch explained
